Is there a new wonder lube for the inertia head?

I used to use pencil lead anything new or better?

Nick - I've recently been using PTFE spray on inertia helix. Seems to work.

You can get this from 'Toolstation' part number 63929, £3.18 for 400ml can

Pencil lead was what we used to use in a pinch.  Powdered graphite from the hobby supply store and/or DIY store is a quicker way to apply more of the same.  You can also use Moly-disulfide powder if you can find a source for it.
