top job! looks nice! what colour is it?
Thanks mate, It's not to bad ha going to need a good flatting and polishing for it to look better but happy as its my first ever time and isn't going to be a show car. It's rover hurricane grey. It's really nice can't wait to get it out in day light.
I knew I recognised the colour......was it pure coincidence?

I was hoping you would spot this at some point. Originally the car was going to be black with a red roof. Then I got into really liking grey cars. That is when I came across your car and just really loved the colour and that's it was set on that grey. So as it doesn't seem that there is many in this grey I wanted to carry it on and come away from the regularly used greys. Plus it's such a nice colour and I like how depending on the angle of the light it looks lighter or darker so it's thanks to Barry I picked this colour

I'm glad you liked it that much to commit to painting your car the same.....big compliment. It is a fantastic colour, and not sure why more don't use it. When I tell people i'm changing the colour of mine back to the original factory colour, everyone comments that I should leave it as is......obviously tricky now i'm in limbo with a very broken shell!!!!
Did you change to Celly or stick with 2K?
Your car is really looking good though....looking forward to seeing it finished.

I understand why you would want to change back to the original colour as its for originality. But yes I really like the colour so much. There is a few grey cars on the roads as it seems to be the in colour but none are like this they are either light grey or a very dark blue ish grey.
I stuck with the 2 pack in the end as I already had it and borrowed stuff for protection. Thinking I might need to buy another litre though depending on how much is used

In the mean time I had ordered my rear beam and coil overs which arrived. I'm slowly getting to the point where once stuff is painted I can get it all straight onto the car
With the rear beam I might have to adjust the centre bit of the support so I can tuck the exhaust up but it will be easy enough to do and I'm going to be painting over the powder coat anyway for more protection.
