I'm in Irlam. I've got a unopened small reel of flux cored in my garage my mate gave me, think my day off next week I'll cut a wing off and have a practice on that before butchering the GT. Think I'll have to leave the lap top switched on while on welders to give the Mrs a few hints for xmas prezzies. Don't think my mates welders up to much

If it works don't knock it. I watched my mate welding with his but don't know if the welder was crap or he was, I'll grab it off him this weekend and have a go

Was going to get time tonight to work on the mini but that was changed to working on the 205 as one of the rear calipers was binding and the master cylinder for the brakes was getting on a bit so changed it.

New and old lol

Engine bay is just as annoying to get your hands into the small spaces and awkward angles to get at things.

Anyway things got worse rear caliper had got a bit of water trapped and wasn't returning properly and then the bleed nipple on the front caliper snapped so let's say I'm a little annoyed but now I'm £90 down. Looking forward to pay day and ordering parts for the mini

Not even had a chance to look at getting on with the car but hey ho. I have in the other hand still managed to spend some money.

I bought a box off of my mate it's definitely 100% brand new and never been used or abused.

When I opened the box it contained some items but can't quite work out what they are

Can any one help tell me what these are ?

After cleaning up and painting the calipers on my 205 ready to rebuild tomorrow 😡.

I set about dismantling my clocks to work out how to fit them onto the custom dash I will be making.

B58F3599-5146-47A0-8EFB-199682E45014_zps

Three clock dash.

99B96F32-9B9A-4A47-9B5C-A7A6BE0CA312_zps

Surround stripped off and a cad template done of how it will mount to the dash panel.

Also ordered all the steel that will be needed to make seat mounts and a sheet of 1.5mm aluminium to make the dash.

I'm now off to watch the first 2D showing if Star Wars because I'm a big geek
