They are all like it that's the trouble! They used to be cheap run arounds so they just got patched up.

Got a fair chunk done today even tho I have a swollen up knee! Clamped the sill in place p/s
24CAF5C9-C6F2-4661-AA0F-50E27CB03AC3_zps
Made sure it was all in the right place then welded it all up
003582BC-2BF4-4A14-A49B-1FAB17E451B7_zps
Added seam welds every couple inches for strength then wire wheeled it all ready for grinding down
A548B8BA-35B7-4C6E-BE79-EBC751BCD8BF_zps
Then I welded the belt mount to the d/s and gave the inner sill/doorstep a good cost of zinc 182. Also did the sill itself ready for welding on once it's dry :)

Done some more tonight !
Cleaned off the sill ready for paint
95925C22-CB64-4AAE-B386-C71D9F4CFD06_zps
Also seam welded the bulk head and gave that a coat of zinc 182

I'm so happy with how it's looking! Just waiting on funds to buy a few more panels for the rear end. But before I sort out the boot floor I will be turning it back over and welding up the inside plus removing bracing

Got her flipped back the right way tonight :) leaving the boot floor for a while as the panel is £190! So I'm getting on with the rest.

Decided to try the crossmember in then cut the corners out both sides so I can run the brake, fuel and battery cables through the car.
FEBEA4FE-CB25-4533-B5D1-1377E4F7B12C_zps
You can see I have cut semi circles out from both sides of the box. They will have rubber edging on once the cars painted.
1E8CED14-FBD0-4FE4-928F-4B71A34F7ADF_zps
Adjusted the edges allot to make it fit but still needs more adjustment
47B7FAC9-8EE3-4343-9154-FC7B1EAF7516_zps
Chipped of the rest of the sound deadening too!
