Bummer about the job.
What happened??
Parked a car to close to a bramble bush. Manager went over the top and decided to use me as an example to the rest of the staff and terminate my contract. The body shop I worked at is not in a very good state and targets not being met so I assume they are going to get rid of allot of people for no reason. :/

sounds like they are trying to get out of paying redundancy.
Take them to a tribunal and you may get compo

I then sorted out the doorstep/rear quarter panel took allot of adjustment to get it to fit. Here's a pic with the sill clamped on to check fitment
And here it is all ground down I can't weld the sill on yet as I don't have seatbelt mounts to weld inside yet. So I'm going to get the other side to this stage aswell then sort the sills out.

So I welded the two new panels together after using the rusty innerwing for alignment
Then welded it in and ground it down !
I have been sorting the arch closing panel out but have no pics of that yet will update tomorrow!

First things first I got the a post closer panel welded in drivers side
Then finished the arch closing panel and arch repair
Then moved on to the doorstep / rear quarter. This was much better fit than the other side so hopefully the filler work will be Easyer this side !
Here's a pic once I ground it all down
The shell is now also fully stripped so ready for running down and painting
Only reason I haven't put the sills on both sides is because I forgot to order the seatbelt mounting plates! Once that's sorted it's just the rear end to sort out :)
