Hi Ryan
Just read your thread from start to finish. Great read and very inspiring too. I've just bought my first Mini, a 1275GT that will be for my son when he's passed his test. I've got a couple of years to get it done, but that's the plan.
I've started a thread and will update it as and when I can. Well done on what you've achieved, keep the updates coming and feel free to give me pointers.

Nice work
I can highly recommend Norton Blaze strip discs for removing thick layered old paint. They go in a normal angle grinder and remove layers of paint in minutes.
I stripped the entire lower side of this T2 in around 20 minutes and you can see how much filler was in there by the dust on the floor!
And they don't bite into the metal like flap discs so no thinning
.
Keep up the great work.

Yes mate bought it earlier in the year because it was only 10 miles away! 1961 Austin seven. It's quite bad condition but as you can guess from my other minis I'm not scared!!! Haha.

fair enough dude it looks great, and would be silly not to buy it that close to your house. I am sure it will be another stunner!
