Got working on the radius arms tonight but could not get the drum off one!!!! Damn thing. Anyway started to wire wheel them down should be good for etch and high build after a good going over with the DA!

These were new in the second year of me driving the car so they should be fine to chuck straight back on the car with new pin kits!!!!!

I'm trying to get back on it! XD well garage build is going ok only recently finished cladding the front. Still got inside to sort out then get it wired up ! How's your projects going? Most likely allot better than mine!!!

It all sounds like its getting there, I would love a proper garage/workshop got so many things to be cracking on with.

errm mine are going ok the sidewalk is back on the road taxed/motd etc my vision of the last four years have come to light and she looks great. Considering its my first proper build I cant complain. But the van is next and that will be better. I will update my thread soon as the bloody internet is back on at my house lol

Bit of an update but sadly no pictures! Spent most of the morning stripping down the motor from my compressor as it kept blowing fuses. Sorted that out then got front and rear sub frames da'ed down. Also as my rear subframe was new non genuine I have cleaned up the joins and added welds to strengthen it up. I hope to get some primer/paint on the frames during the week!!!!

Got a few pics of recent progress.
Radius arms primed

And painted is gloss 2k black

Rear subframe welded for strength along joins later type exhaust mounts removed.

Been flat out on it today ! First I rubbed the 2 sub frames down again and hung them up in my shed. Chucked some etch primer on them first then high build.



Left that to go off a bit then mixed up the old English white paint. 2 coats later and they look lovely !!!!



As soon as I get paid I'm going to order all the bits to build these both up. Need to get the shell out of storage and get the underside stone chipped and painted.

Haha the garage isn't even finished! lol it's a right mess.
I don't plan on using this car much in the rain so I will be able to keep them clean! :) Thanks mate !!!!!

That garage looks like an ace space though wish I had that.

Right tonight I thought I better do something towards the mini. So remembered I stripped down a hub/driveshaft a couple years ago and never finished! So I dug the pair out finished stripping one and stripped the other one right down. Gave them a good going over with the wire wheel.


Next up for them is a good clean up with thinners to make sure all the grease is gone then a going over with the da to etch them for primer. Will also sort out the drive shafts as the will need painting too!!! I'm aiming to get both subframes fully built to motivate me more to finish the shell.

Got some primer on the hubs and steering arms.

Then a good coat of black :)

Was going to get the driveshafts done but I seem to have lost one hope it turns up!!!
