Fair enough mate I am looking forward to being finish with the welding stage and on to the prep as then i might be able to see light at the end of the tunnel haha need time to work thats my main prob atm!

 

You still going tweed grey with this?

This is not a fun job!

DAing all the green paint off the front end due to paint reaction from when I replaced the front end! Damn stuff clogs up the discs

It's a longggg tunnel mate! I can't see the end still haha ! I'm painting it smoke grey ;) the van is tweed grey !

arh yeah I remember now, you doing this one then back onto the van then? What you using to get that off the front 80's?

I hate paint stripping, I was getting reaction on the primer so luckily thinners got it off. Worst jobs on the car has to be paint removal and underseal removal

Yes using 80s! Was going to get some 40s but they never last very long :/ I have to agree guys paint removal and underseal removal are the worse jobs!

Hate removing paint will have to do this to the front of sidewalk where new panels have been fitted.

Haven't stopped working on this just not got many pics to show! I paintstrippered the front panel the other day and have done allot of the fillerwork on the front end. D/s is almost at needing primer stage whilst the rest all needs going round the edges/seams to remove flaky green paint!

Nope the van grill was rotten so I cut it all out! Morris cooper grill going on ;)

Na thats not OTT its what makes a great finish. I would be doing the same lol
