Wicked that's going to look great in there, I no a fair amount of people with cages and nearly all of the plates are welded in.

 

Bodywork is coming along nicely.

I have be cracking on ! Got spreader plates all welded in for the roll cage should be plenty strong enough ;)


Got the holes drilled for the p/s rear subframe mount then welded the stiffener panel in


Welded the d/s waist rail in too! Still need to sort out the top of the quarter sometime

Also remembered the fuel tank bracket so dug it out cleaned it up and welded it back in

Going to sort out the front shock mounts nexr and little bits to sort out at the bottom of the inner wings.

Smashed that section out as soon as I got home from work ! Going to do the other side tomorrow night. Got to be careful now new neighbors with little ones so using grinder late is a no no!

Yeh they seem to go on all of them like it :/ Trouble is I thought I had already done them when I did the front end a few years back ! Clearly not lol

I hope to finish it for August bank holiday weekend if that fails castle Combe in September! !!!

Welded up the drivers side shock mount area tonight.

Also been welding up random holes I drilled for things on the inner wings/bulkhead. Gave the bulkhead a quick going over with a wire wheel too and found an area that needs a patch. That and the top of the rear quarter will be sorted out on Saturday then it's back to fillerwork rest of bank holiday! XD

Welded up the top of the d/s rear quarter today! Took a while to make the section up to go in but I think it came out quite good!

Spent most of today grinding down welds! So not much to show as far as pictures go.

Did get the edge of the scuttle repaired as this always bothered me even tho it has a seal over it !

I will give it a skim of filler and all shall be well! :)
My friend is coming over tomorrow to help me get some fillerwork finished ready for etching !

Yeh she should look sweet! I got allot of filler done today ! Both rear quarters plus back panel all finished just need to prep the edges. Got front end to strip of paint as the paint reacted back when I changed the front end few years ago
