Yeh she's plodding along :) the color is now defo going to be smoke grey with OEW bits :) green is a little to first car chav for me now lol !

Can just imagine how its going to look :) Same colours as my mk1 will be although still unsure to leave it as its original island blue...

Started on the other side today after getting the d/s basically done


D/s lamp panel needs another skim !

Hope everyone has had a nice Xmas! I got a few goodies to use on the mini!!!

The last panel I need and both size belt sanders to finish off my grinding :)

The rear panel and d/s quarter are on their final skims so I stripped back the p/s quarter and gave that a coat today !

Going to get some more welding gas in the week so I can finish all the little bits of welding

Thought I would blow the dust off this !!!! Spent allot of money at bingley for this project and haven't really touched it for a while. But past few nights I have been out doing a few bits starting with stripping the old rear subby as I need the radius arms for my new one!

This also made it easy for me to bolt it back up to the car to drill the rear mount holes....... Well that didn't work!!! I quickly realised the valence closers were welded to far forward.


To sort this out I have cut 2 slots in both closers and tapped them back. Haven't welded yet as it was getting late!

Will get them welded sometime this week then drill the holes so the arch to boot floor stifiners can be welded in to complete welding to the rear.
