I will never sell it.. Just thinking how much fun it is going to be overtaking without having to pull back and take run ups 3 corners in advance :) my current car is a VW fox with 54Hp does 0-60 in 17 seconds...

That however didn't stop me from overtaking 6 cars stuck behind a guy going up Ogwen Valley the other day (took a BIG run up for that one)

Cool beans. I've got Saturday off (mostly) with no real demands being made of me, so I aim to go over to do some mini related stuff finally. I have had so little free time the last few weeks that all I want to do when I get some downtime is sleep.    :dozing:

So I did actually do some welding, got this far and ran out of gas. Need to find a pub gas bottle.

Got this lot, 12M of cds tube, lots of etch and weld through, some steel sheet and also caught the mechanics at work trying to skip a whole wiring loom so liberated that as well.

Yesterday I finished the floors finally. Today I have had a rethink and decided the order I was going to replace the floor in was silly so now it is start with the rear on the drivers side and move forward. So the rest of the roll cage is out and

At this point I need to figure out the best way to tackle this so I went off on a tangent and did this instead

Only cut out a little bit more and found my rear subframe bracket thingee.... it most definately needs to be replaced. I am glad I had the foresight to replace the bolts with titanium ones.

Im not sure how I am going to go about dealing with this.

I have braced across the door, I think I will need to brace across the car widthways. The idea was just to cut out the rear floor and weld in the new one but obviously its not that straightforward anymore.

If anyone has any advice on my next step then please give it. I probably now need to remove the rear subframe but if I move the car around it will probably distort. Also it is on a slope so the handbrake is the only thing keeping the car where it is..

This is going to require some thought.

You might need to cut it out from underneath and from the seat part. Should be loads of spot welds. Sill bit is the worst to match up after.
