Rate as in demanding a higher resale value? Not really. Although there are probably a few out there.

Yeh, I know what you mean. You won't get more from it being a Standard neon.

it will probably be a long term project as I have my mini for the road, and a rover 220 that needs a light restoration.. I am on bit off a budget to be honest!

Hello Fellow Neon Owner!

I am currently in the process of doing a full nut and bolt resto on my beloved Dolly (yes that's her name) !

I believe there were only 1500 made - and How Many Left: https://www.howmanyl...rover mini neon

Say there are only 234 still knocking about!

I personally love the look of the Neon - I think it's quite a 'girl' car, the light blue and pink, due to this I wouldn't say it's particularly a sought after or well know limited edition.....

However I personally CRINGE when I see a chaved Neon....

A well done restoration with attention to detail will always increase value, but as an owner of a Neon I wouldn't say it was particularly popular!

If your chucking original interior bits - let me know!

and yeah they are kind off girly for such a Manly man like me ;) ahahaha

if I do get rid off any bits I will let you know!

Hey!

You know what they say - real men wear pink! I recon you could work it!

I like to think if I won the lottery I would collect Neon's and restore them all back to their former girly awesomeness!

However considering I don't actually play the lottery I don't think it's going to happen anytime soon....!

I didn't think Dolly was *too* bad, but once we stripped her (tee hee) and rolled her over (lol) she was completely rotten -

I think the only panel I haven't replaced is the roof - and that seriously isn't an exaggeration!

Keep me in mind for interior parts - will always pay a fair price :)

x

Well to be honest, even my Mini sprite has the girly sticker on the side.. I think it attracts the female attention a taddddd more!;)

but yeah I will keep you in mind! I think ill probably end up using the original interior either way, the seats are awesomely comfortable.

Mine needs to roof replacing I think :| that bad! x

Hello, another mini neon owner here!! When I got mine someone had modded it (inc changing the paint to amaranth ) so mine doesn't look like a neon anymore. I have kept all the original parts should I want to revert back to original!
