whoa, LOADS done today! Went to the paint shop to start fitting up to a rolling shell.
Some pics of the bay and underneath:
I then started to add the fuel/brake lines:
I added the fuel pipe foam to the bulkhead and also to underneath the floor. I sell these on eBay if anyone needs some?

I then put the steering rack on:
Subframe time!
Then started to add the hubs, but ran out of time:
Pretty happy with that for a day!

I'm just about to build up my painted SPI shell; having never had an injection car this is super helpful! Following with open eyes :)

Not much to update, but its back on its wheels! Annoyingly I had to ask one of the guys at the paint-shop to put it back together, so I missed the fun part! Anyway, just the one pic:

Wonderful project! It's going to be better than a new car. Looking forward to seeing it finished

Not much done on the car recently as I've just not had time! The paint shop did send me this though:
I thought I had got away with no dents on the roof, but no! Apparently putting things on it whilst your doing a restoration with dent the roof, who knew...
Anyway, I've finished my heated front screen switch. I needed a push once switch to activate the heated front relay (its on a timer) so a brake test switch was ideal as it doesn't click on. It came with the red test light, so I had a look in my box of bits and found an old heated rear screen switch that had a green background and a white screen logo! Result. I set about changing the green for the red light window:
All done! Hopefully it'll look ok when its in the car :)

Snap Mine was much the same, it actually was hiding it's dents under multiple thick layers of filler!
