Another one of my projects, a late mk1 mg metro 1300, bought this as i regretted selling my old one, needs a bit of work but its not terrible, mainly small amount of rot in the front floorpan corners and sills, other than that its just cosmetic issues and recommissioning

Hopefully have the back broke on this one this year but probably not finished, depending on my workload

Not sure about the colour, I kinda like the green and it is a rare colour, in fact im not sure if there is actually another opaline green mk1 mg left, but i quite fancy a doing it black as they do look good in black!

I saw this, it was a bargain given the engine and all of the rare bits. That said it needs to be restored. I know of a few that are opaline green and they get a lot of attention in the Metro scene. Bring this restored to Pride of Longbrdige and it'll get a lot of attention!

Looking forward to following your project.

This is cool, I run my B reg silver leaf MG as a daily! It's just kicked over 37000 miles!

I like the green! I'd keep it original.

I have a set of mk1 pepperpots with MG centrecaps if you're interested??

Cheers but already got a set on the shelf earmarked for it! I like the green too, just not sure it suits an mg, not very sporty!

love it, I spotted this for sale I think.

at the risk of sounding boring, please keep it in that original colour, its a proper period colour and its original!

the price of these earlier cars is going up and up, and its much rarer than allot of the mini special editions that everyone is going mad to keep original.

im begging you, restore it to factory! please!!!!

It was actually me who removed your comment. If you have an issue with the OP, then please take it up with them directly via PM, not by publicly throwing around accusations & insults on their project thread. Similarly concerns over a sellers behaviour should be reported to the TMF team using the report function, not raised here.
