here's a rear spoiler i made earlier ( WHAT DO YOU THINK) be gentle

:- the usual stuff sticky back plastic and glue :ph34r:


fiberglass and filler 2 plates 2 nuts and bolts and 2 holes in the roof and lots of elbow grease

doesnt look too bad! have u thought about making the seem between the spoiler and the roof smother?? if that makes sense? dont even know if thats possible actually!

looks alright tho!

hi there thanks for your comments but ive got a little more work to do on it before im happy :-
not sure what you mean but its not going to be blended in to the roof its just a bolt on bolt of spoiler
you could blend it in but the misses likes it as it is :ph34r: :wub: thanks

2 weeks on and off still not finished same as the car still got loads to do i'll get there 1 day thanks :-

I'm not usually one for spoilers on minis, they look abit OTT

But amazing work you've pulled it off, looks great!

Hi mate, it looks good, but in my opinion (since you asked i hasten to add...) is that the curve isn't quite right against the minis lines on the back... I would suggest maybe having something a bit more rectangular shaped, the profile however is nice and i like it.

It's hard to describe wht i'm trying to say.. I think it needs to be a shape that looks believable on a mini, it looks great but i would try to make it look less like a 'universal spoiler'. that's not an insult by the way, if I was anywhere near as good with filler and fibreglass as you I'd be fecking over the moon!

Looks good, quite subtle, which is whats needed with a roof spoiler on a mini IMO. However I'm not one for adding bits to a mini where there not needed...
