Update on the bodywork! Decided to get the sand blaster out and get the corrosion out of the hard to reach areas. Also wire wheeled all the corrosion sealant off the bulkhead and sprayed with Electrox

Plugged a few pin holes

Also found a bit of corrosion on the top of the A pillar :(

Filled the doors with Electrox

Sprayed up the seat brackets

And finally the spot lights! These were a bit rough around the edges - Overspray, polish, scratches etc.

Thanks guys. Im working the car through key phases; next one is engine, then paint. Had some better quotes for the body work and paint, decided to go with Steve from Sleaford Mini centre. Hes been recommended several times now, so need to work out a way to get the shell to Lincoln next month!

Im using a cheap one I got off eBay and medium weight glass media. I used a wire wheel on the bulkhead and the blaster for the hard to reach areas.

Moving on with more bodywork! Got the grill to sit properly after some experimenting and the addition of some rivnuts!

A big thanks to Sean (Shifty) for lending me a cylinder head to get on with some engine work! Got the turbo installed and some modification with a cutting disk and a flapper wheel.

Looking to put the oil drain here

And looking to put the actuator here - just need to get hold of a TIG welder or someone that can do it for me!
