Hey guys, I have decided to install an aftermarket Tach to my mini to help with learning to drive, and I have all the correct wiring diagrams except I cannot find which colour wire in the wiring loom I would attach the dimmer to. The Tachometer has an orange cable for the dimmer and the car model is a 1990 Rover Mini city 998. Thanks for the help guys.

Red with green is usually the dash illumination wire colour so tapping into this on one of the existing clocks should be what you need.

Don't confuse with green with red wire. That's left indicator light.
