Lol, would never tell them where you are, no one wants holidaying germans putting their beach towels on your garden loungers.

A Valid point Bananaman! They always seem to have got there first with the towels yet you never see them do it! Naughty Germans. ;D

cheers, lol, yeah I've been concentrating on the mechanical side of things on the back end really, but the boot is now on, still can't get it to shut (gasket is mighty big) and to re-wire the back too.

Next pics will most likely be of back end totally rebuilt, with boot on and all trim like bumpers so you can see how the car look sgood with reflections of chrome etc.

Then i'm moving onto rear quarters etc.

I promise, pics to come :gimme: promise promise!

I love checking on this thread.
The cars looking fab and the colour you've chosen is great!
How long do you think it would take to finish in total? If only I had a garage :'(

Probably only take about 3 weeks Max, maybe 2 weeks if you timed everything, I reckon this is because you HAVE to wait long enough for the thinners to completely evaporate, if you don't, it wont work at all.

Retro 10's, this is the first time I have looked at this thread. Your clubman looks brilliant, I am well impressed with the finish. Tell me you are going to keep the 10" slotmags on it as well!

clubmans.....there just ain't enough of them on the road! Makes me want one now!

yeah man the superslots are staying, can't get enough of 10" wheels on minis, and these superslots are sexy... make the clubman look more menacing i think in a retro kinda way.

It's raining ;D... so can't rol car out to get a picture of the back end fully completed now. chrome is on etc, number plate. looks gorgeous with all the refleccies!

thanks Barry, Keep your eyes peeled for more progress coming in the next week.

You are quite truely amazing.....i love you, and thank you for this post. I now have an answer for putting paint on my rebuild....it's been going on a year already so a bit longer in painting it myself won't hurt! It certainly won't hurt my pocket either. Diamond geez.

well here's the back done (minus glass and vinyl roof fitting finished)

polished up she looks good, got some tiny little scratches... they're kinda not even scratches. but i'll just T-cut those out. pics to enjoy! rear quarters are half flatted back now, so polish soon to come! The sun is quite high in the sky today so it's hard to get any decent reflections on these pics,.... but what you can notice is how uniform the finish is.
