paint going on nice and thin, took two coats to cover the old paint. am finding it theraputic, once again thanks for putting us on to this idea.

Use a foam roller,... not the velvety ones, I get little bits of C**p in the paint now and then too but they do just sand out.

But the problem is that I'm using gloss enamel paint, which I think it is oil based..and a person I spoke to told me that this type of paint does not polish up...what do you suggest I do after wetsanding, as the job is coming along nicely, but I don't want to end up with a smooth but dull finish..
pls help..10x alot

hi retro10s, I'm repairing my minis front end and decided to use the roller method...I've just rolled on the undercoat and wetsanded it, and it feels veeery smooth

This whole thread is about using gloss paint! One you've wet sanded you then need to get some G-3 paste and work that onto the panel, then use some G-10, it will shine like a brass monkey! Don't panic, do a test patch if you're worried and post pics up.
Mike youve been promising decent pics for far too long now, i reckon youve give up
Lol, dude i have just come in form the garage working on this! sorry for delay!
