Fancy doing mine once when I’ve sorted out the rust and badly bodged “repairs”?

Won’t be until early next year as I can’t really work in my garage over the winter months, as it gets a bit on the cold side, and will probably take me till then to finish off the front and start on the rust at the rear.

Apparently this paint is pretty bullet proof. I was talking to Steve (the guy at Avenue coatings I recieved my paint from) and he was saying it does have temperature resitant qualitites. Interesting what you say Bert998, I painted my mates 998 head with it and it was fine too,.. no cracking, discolouration, no nothing!. looks good!.

...mine too ;-)

whenever you want lol.

sorry for late replies, been in Manchester for a couple of days. it rained. woot. lol.

Can't remember if I posted in here before or just lurked (and it's a whopper to check back through!)

So just in case - outstanding work! Are you going to be able to resist the temptation of telling anybody who looks that you did it with a roller? :w00t:

Nuff respect and hats off to ya.

Well done and I cant wait to see the finished article.

nah thread is still up and running, but i'm bogged down with other stuff on the car right now. been ordering lots of parts.

I just this second got in from the garage putting a coat on each rear quarter, went on well, levelled, no air bubbles present. Will post up pics tomoz in daylight since my garage is lit with the equivalent of a candle... yes that's right one of those energy saving bulbs... they're rubbish for output.

I'lll probably put another coat on and then flat that back and see if there's enough on.
