Just been out and bought myself a new mini, she's a 1975 Morris Mini 1000, completely original (apart from seat covers) and was restored to a high standard 5 years ago. Been a local car to me since new with only 2 owners from new and a genuine 58k miles. Also soon to be tax exempt!

Cant wait to pick it up next week!

Used to see it driving about locally now and again, nice to now be in ownership!

Congrats on the purchase. Looks really clean, what are your plans for it?

Subtle mods really, Mk1 grille, new bumpers and some over riders with corner bars, cooper s reverse rims and staying archless. Shes already running a brake disc conversion too!

Love the look of this

If you're going archless with Reverse Rims and S discs it won't work - they'll stick out WAY too far - they barely fit under std arches...

You should get away with s steels with disc brakes with no issues what so ever. There only 4.5 inch wide. I run 5 insh wide wheels arches less. They poke a tiny amount but nothing to crazy. Looks like a cool little car anyway.

Looks nice, I'd change the seats, paint the roof either black or body colour and then go for some cooper steelies!!
