Etch Primer Or Zinc Primer?

Hi all, for bodywork repairs and general use which is the best primer to use? Etch primer or zinc???

Welded joints Zinc rich primer, bare metal etch primer, you can then flash over zinc primer if you want to afterwards.

I use epoxy primer, it has anti corrosion properties and doesn't absorb moisture from the atmosphere like some other primers. So there's no need to worry if you cant work on your car for a period of time. Cleaned bare metal, panel wipe, epoxy, anything after can be done at your leisure.

Apparently you can apply filler directly over epoxy too but a friend of mine owns a body shop and frowns at this, he has always applied filler to bare metal but he is old school =]
