Retro will take place for the third year on Sunday 5 July 2015. Again raising money for Martock Charity Shop.

We hope even more of you will get in the spirit next year and wear Vintage / Retro outfits.

2015 prices are:
£9.00 for a Basic pitch (without electric)
£12.00 for a Standard pitch (with electric)
£3.00 for additional people (2 are included in the pitch fee)
£1.00 per dog

The event will follow the same format as Retro 2014 meeting in the morning at Martock Business Park Martock Panel Craft Ltd scenic drive to then return to Martock Recreation Ground where we will have on kind loan from Birmingham Mini Owners Club Rocker Cover Racing.

Live music, and of course an award for favourite vehicle, furthest traveled, and best dressed.

52 classic Mini attended last year, how many for 2015?

Our event is filling up nicley with Minis coming from most corners of the UK. Scotland, Kent, Cornwall, Cardiff, Bristol, Dorset, Devon,Somerset,  Sunday main event 5 July. Road closure North Street Cavalcade at 10AM,   Bar, Carvery, live band, Rocker Cover Racing, stalls, games, large classic vehicle display (200 - 250 vehicles)  Local scenic tour through the villages. Retro stalls, retro shops.

 

We are well up on numbers booked so far and our camping is proving popular (we sold out last year)

We had a great time last year, the run through the town was the best part!! I'm already booked in!

Event is now full sold out! Thanks to all 60 Classic Mini owners thats a new record for us. We have 250 vehicles this year booked in. PLEASE do not just turn up on the day and expect to take part. We are unable to accomodate any further entries this year.

Another fantastic event. We had 60 classic Mini attend with the furthest driving down from Kilmarnock (465 miles each way) Retro Fundraising had 300 vehicles in the road closure spectacular cavalcade and with our afternoon show and family day we raised and donated £7266.00 to help disabled children. (thats almost £15K in the 3 years we have put the event on)

 

Next years event is Sunday 3 July 2016. Camping will again be available on the Saturday night with prehaps a run out on Sat afternoon to the Haynes International Moror Muesum or the Fleet Air Arm Museum & Concorde which are both 15 mins away.

 

Thank you to the Mini Groups that came and Thank you to Bristol Mini Drifters for expert marshalling once again!

 

Tickets will go on sale in December and will be limited to 300 cavalcade vehicles for 2016.
