Enjoyed it this year, last year I absolutely hated it, probably because the traffic wasn't so bad, arrived at Brighton half and hour earlier than we actually managed to leave London last year! There are two complaints though,
1. My poor brother struggled to get out of the car park space as the cars were parked so close and there were binis the opposite side, so barley any room to manoeuvre, if one of the binis from the opposite side hadn't left I don think we would've got out.
2. Because it is open to the public you got cyclist, people walking behind reversing cars, hitting cars with hand bags, etc, really cheesed me off and the fact it was soooo busy meant you couldn't really look at the cars you wanted.

All those bloody cyclists trying to get through the crowds! Same every year though, wouldn't you avoid the place like the plague if you were on a bicycle?!

I agree it was too busy. How many cars s it limited to? Anybody know?
And the BINI* parking could have been planned a little better. They are ever-so-slightly larger than their prettier cousins, and so there were a couple of tight pinch-points towards the marina end...especially when another BINI wanted to come through.
*I'm not a BINI basher, as I swing both ways....so ner...

It may seem a bit overkill, but why don't they close the main drive of to the public and have a £5 entry fee for spectators, people could still walk down the beach bit if they needed to get through, It would stop the careless people hitting peoples cars etc. I'm sure there's probably a major reason they don't do it though.
Plus it would stop the congestion of people.

It was a great day, seemed busy as always, and the weather was spot on!
I'm not sure what happened to the LSMOC marshalls, but the parking down in brighton was horrendous. Nobody could move at the far end where the road narrows, as cars were still parked both sides, leaving just about enough room to drive a mini through, binis were struggling along with pedestrians watching their toes.
I'm not sure what others think, but I think we've really got the 'registration' procedure down to a tee now, started at 5, and the main queue was gone within 45mins!
My day was ruined, seeing a child doing this...
Jesus what was the child doing?! I saw some couple with 2 kids sitting on a blue Mini's bonnet. I hope it was theirs... Even if it was, why would you want to let kids with trainers on sit on your Mini's bonnet?! It looked like a real nice paint job too :/
