I can definitely recommend it! if you are looking for a long journey to do in your mini, the alps is definitely the one! Maybe summer would be better mind!! but still, the winter is pretty amazing too!
Here is another pic, non mini related, but its me on top of the world!

So, its school half term. meaning the slopes are pretty busy and i can promise you that skiing around with that many kids on the mountain is not that much fun! so what to do instead?? well its obvious, enjoy the sunshine and those open roads!

Snows looking still good, everytime I see these I have to stop myself from pulling an overnighter in the car and getting on the slopes again....

I've finally got a trip booked. We are off to Innsbruck, Austria on Tuesday. We are actually going to be on the Glungezer area rather than Innsbruck as my fiancee is a complete beginner and there is no point spending 200 euros on a lift pass when she will be learning and taking it easy. I am hoping that she loves it enough that next year we can start with the bigger resorts. It's all pretty cheap as well really so can't complain.
Innsbruck looks to be a fairly nice city as well so plenty to do after the slopes (if we have time after the drinking!)

Just found this post and spent most of my morning reading through it. Very jealous! I've been planning a trip around the UK for me and my mini for a few months now and I can't wait until everything is ready to go!
Love the pictures, hope all is going well. :)

So I took the old girl out for a spin today, and came across a road block that was manned by the Gendarmerie, these guys can be a serious force to be reckoned with. Very rarely will you see one of them voluntarily interact with a member of the public, unless they have done something wrong, and you certainly won't see them smile whilst they are in uniform, tough bastards i think is the best way of describing them. Anyway, as i approached the road block in the mini, i saw one of them crack a smirk, then all three of the guys manning the block simultaneously gave me the thumbs up and waved me on through, as i drove off i gave it a little bit of a rev, which in any normal car would have been cause enough to pull you over, not this time! just bigger grins!

Spring has definitely sprung out here in Morzine. On certain evenings, the view from my apartment is pretty special.
this photo was taken from my iPhone with NO added filters, this is actually how it looked!
