So we have had some snow. but no way near enough. The season has started very badly, and what is one of the world largest skiing areas only has about 8 out of the 300 runs are open
There are some benefits to this, the stunning alpine roads are clear of snow and have very little traffic on them. Perfect for hooning about in the Mini.
The old girl is still running like a dream, and she has even got a local french mini friend in town! (ill get a pic of them next time i see it)
for now here is a picture of my "office"
Thanks

An update from the Alps.
With Christmas week fast approaching, this is seen to be one of the most expensive weeks of the year for guests so people's expectations are VERY high.
The problem, still not enough snow, and none forecast for the near future. This means that the ski resort organisers have started to limit the number of ski passes available. meaning that around 3/4s of the people coming to stay in morzine and the surrounding areas aren't guaranteed a lift pass. This means a very stressful week ahead for me, so wish me luck!
On a positive note, this came through the post the other day, Little Red making her modelling debut in TMF 2015 calendar, Ladies and Gentlemen may i introduce you to Miss November!
Until next time

Dunno how I missed this but I can't remember anything about a TMF calendar. How do I get one of them?

Finally, last night we had some snow! looks like the ski season will be able to start after all!
Today we had a bit of snow, sun and cloud all at the same time, so it made for a couple of pretty cool pictures!
Enjoy!

That is really super!! I never got to see any of the Works Cars in the flesh, but as soon as I saw that photo, that's the first thing that popped in to my head!!
Shame about the lack of snow, but that's something outside of everyone's control, just hope it all works out for everyone.

It sure is! What a great road it is too! coming down is pretty testing for the brakes though!

There are some great pictures there.
I hope the snow pics up. Unfortunately, people tend not to be too reasonable when they feel they are losing out. How are the operators planning on controlling who can have a lift pass and who can't? I'd be a lot more annoyed turning up for my Christmas boarding break only to find I wasn't getting a lift pass. I know it won't be your call, but it will impact on you with angry guests. It won't be too good for the companies either, who will get nothing but bad publicity from it. I know the amount of snow is completely outside of your control, and guests book at their own risk - but limiting lift passes is one way to annoy a lot of people!
I hope it works out ok and that there is a random huge snowfall to kick the season off properly.
Until then, keep enjoying the nice roads and epic views. Oh, and keep sending us pictures.
