Nice job. Just make sure you have time to get the skis out - then put them in the bin, and buy a board! I really wish I had done something like this when I was younger but I only found out I loved snowboarding once I was in the Army so it didn't really work out.
Actually, one thing I have always wanted to do is take my mountain bike up and go down on the snow. I think it would be great fun!

Good luck, I have spent many a drunken time after some great skiing in Avoriaz, Morzine and Chatel, I've certainly fallen out of one of the deck chairs at Chez Flo's after the sun went down along with a lot of vin rouge.
and Avoriaz looks a lot better when the snow hits

So we did a few calculations regarding our fuel economy across France.
Turnes out that at 70mph (3,500rpm) most of the way, in a fully loaded car we were averaging 45mpg!
Pretty good i think, so if anyone is looking for a cheap way to travel, turns out that minis are the one!

Finally, last night we had some snow! looks like the ski season will be able to start after all!
Today we had a bit of snow, sun and cloud all at the same time, so it made for a couple of pretty cool pictures!

Only just seen this thread! Epic pics man respect for doing this. I did travel and tourism and planned on doing stuff like this, working in different countries and seeing the world. Should have done it really but never mind. Enjoy your adventure.

No Photo Shopping here! believe me i haven't got the skills for that! I just like to think i have an eye for it!
Thanks for all the great comments about the pics and my little Mini. She is getting a lot of attention from the locals out here in Morzine. They are big in to their rallying here, so its getting a fair few waves!
Hopefully we will get some snow soon and i'll be able to hit the slopes! Pics will no doubt follow!
