07 00 Tomorrow sees the first stage of my 6 month adventure.

A 10 00 ferry takes me, my dad and the little mini over the the continent! Our destination, Morzine, a small skiing town based in the heart of the french alps, a mere 700 miles from where i am currently typing.

The drive will consist of a two day haul, stopping over somewhere south of Reims tomorrow night. Once we have arrived in Morzine, my self and the mini will be living here for the next six months. The car has had an extensive overhaul/service ready for the trip, but needless to say i have got a fairly comprehensive tool kit and spares box just incase.

Over the next few months, I will be adding numerous photos of the little beast to this thread. But for now, here is one i took last month of it racked up and ready for the mountains!

Next stop, Dover UK.

Thanks m_m

Fantastic!

Hope the journey goes well. Enjoy the experience. I assume you will be "working" a little when you're there.

Keep the pics coming.

Bit of historical nonsense for you. Rheims is were the German Surrender was signed at the end of the war. Except the Russians didn't 'rate' the German  General who signed the surrender, so it was then officially re signed in Berlin the next day. That aside Rheims is a beautiful town.
