Im selling my GTM Rossa Kit Car.
The kit has a lot of the parts that come from GTM. All the panels are there. The rear front subframe has been adapted to take a hyabusa bike engine and rear has been cut to allow the clearance. Door glass, no screen but only £60 new. Build manual there. Rad, pipes, interior panels, wipers, front brakes, rear brakes, 2 leather front seats, heater pipes and heaters, fuel tank, rear lights, headlights, wiring. Will make a nice car when done. Was going to build but funds required for new business. Rear wheels pictured are not included, will come with steels. Has 2 13" wheels on the front. I can also supply a 1ltr engine (will need rebuild) and v5 for car used for engine and some parts. I do however have have 1275s, mpi engines complete with looms so pleny of parts to complete build by separate negotiation.
£1350

Is the V5 you're advertising for this car?

Sorry, the v5 isnt for the GTM. The GTM is unregistered. Effectivly a new kit. The v5 is for a rotten mini that the engine came from and some of the parts that were going to be used for the GTM, like the engine which the v5 shows the engine number and was intended as the donor car. So you would have to get the GTM registered with DVLA/VOSA but not sure if you would get to use the F reg car id or not, as a lot of the parts for the car are GTM parts, all though the engine and some mini parts came off the car. Hope this clears that up.

Its a case of not cutting corners when doing the build. And getting the right test guy also helps. Price could be a wee bit negotiable. But not many, if any for sale just now.

can I ask what the seats are out of, trying to decide on what seats to put in my Rossa. I was going to use mx5 ones but would like to know what else fits. I know some one on the gtm forum has used corsa c seats and of course metro ones. shame the rossa v5 on ebay is not legal to use, I bought mine with the correct v5 and a few lads have given up trying to get them through the IVA and used them for track days only because of the amount of work that needs doing.

The seats are rover 400 leather seats. Also mgtf seats look good as i was intending to use these for mine as have a set there. Dont know why people finding it hard to iva. My understanding speaking to the relavant people is that its quite straight forward as its classes as a very safe kit car and as long as everything safe and the exposed threads are covered etc there not bad to do.

cheers I will look at the 400 seats. I think they sailed through Iva until the recent set of changes but like you say, I the builder takes their time and has a copy of the IVA manual, it can be done. If I had the space I might have had it to try and build a bike engined car in the future. Have you put it on the GTM forum.

The thing with kit cars, is that you have to undo all the work to ensure the work done / anything not visible is upto IVA quality. (and take photos incase you need to prove anything) Hence why most people would prefer to do a kit from scratch.

I never thot to put it on the gtm forum. Will have a look for it.

It wouldnt take much to take it back to basic tub again for photos. I was told by vosa if you have pics from when you bought it and then what you had done until it was finished they werr happy st that
