Good Afternoon All.

Just wondering if anyone can help me.

Does anyone have any drawings/plans of a roll over jig? I need to get into the floors of the old beauty and much prefer doing it with the body at 90 degrees.

Hope someone can help.

Cheers.

Jamie.

Hi Jamie,

Everyone has there opinions about the pros and cons of different designs but this one worked for me:

the drawing of the frame is slightly different to the one in the picture, but this is how I would make if I were to make it again.

Hope this helps

Chris

Hi
Looking to build one of these myself.
What is the minimum height the pole needs to be so the mini will spin and also what's the highest height the mini gets too. I just need to make sure it will spin in my garage without hitting the roof😃
Thanks

Hi Steve, from the floor to the centre of the pole is 970mm. To rotate it 360deg you'll need a least 1800mm headroom. Let me know if you need anything else

Hi all may be looking at building one of these how difficult is it to convert this to run the subframe mount jigs rather than using the solid pole.

Has any one done this/built one.

Would be great to see some detailed drawings/pictures.

Thank you.

You could use the same 'A' frame. You'd need to make 2 jigs. 1 to pick up on the front sub and the other the rear rear shocks / sub-frames mounts and then attach them to the 'A' frames with short poles. In my opinion the downside of doing this is that if, like me. you are going to replace the floor pan or boot floor, all the rotational force is transferred through the shell rather than the pole, so you'd have to make sure you'r bracing was up to it.
