One thing I have noticed is because of the way I have my inlet for the charger, the induction noise is loud.
I'll get a gopro soon and film it on the go, from inside
My blow through supercharger used to be really loud!

I do not, repeat do not have the lag and bogging down anymore which I had on my suck through set up. Not saying a suck through set up doesn't work, its just not for me with my hif44. As soon as I buy a gopro I'll get some footage up.

Nice work HUBBA.HUBBA
I'm really happy about this. My main goal from day one has always been to try and overcome the drivability issues associated with suck through set-ups. If there's an increase in power as a by-product that would be fantastic, but that's not what all this has been about. There's no point having all that power on tap if you can't use it reliably when you want it!
Looking forward to a power run now and some long term testing of issues like carb icing and M.P.G. etc.
It's taken a while, but again, well done mate!

My bov has a really strong spring in and the lower tial one was too weak, and was stsying open nearly all the time . With the stronger spring it was very slightly opening on idle (hissing) and that was getting on my nerves. Reading up on the bypass valve I just wanted to give it a try as the general driving experience was also a bit violent. Plus I was hoping recirculation would quieten the induction noise a bit.Bypass valve and bov? Can you please explain the setup for us mere mortals.
The result is it is quieter, getting a higher boost reading, smoother delivery of boost, the throttle is even more responsive, its quicker and more refined.
The bypass is a bini one and I have plumbed it in slightly different compared to how is on a bini. The vacuum activates it when the throttle is closed and I'm still getting the bov doing its job when the pressure builds up on the other side of the throttle. They compliment each other well. I wasn't sure if the 2 would work together, but they do.
Also Roger at Aldon said he had never seen a blow through charger without a bypass even with a bov.
