I've put daytime running lights on my clubby front, I've also done little bits and bobs to try keep the same look but with a modern touch...
Looks really good! Loving the centre console, thats what I had in mind :)

Not only the glare, the moment you'll have to use the wipers, they'll make a mess on the screen..
Still a good product though.

you must be doing something wrong.
never had any issues in 25 years, on and off, of use.
great for not having frozen windscreens in the Morning.

Rain-X is crap. Smeary and lasts no time at all. GTechniq G5 is far far far superior. Streak free and lasts up to 12months as it is a ceramic coating rather than a wax style product

I've been using Angelwax H2Go:http://www.angelwax....-rain-repellent for a while. Its hydrophobic qualities are excellent

Running lights are something I've been thinking about for a while, what are those light units Iain? They look like the biz.

Just waiting on the return of my modernised mini...
Nissan micra 1.3 engine
Halogen headlamps
Disc brakes
Hi-lo suspension
6x9s under seats
Fancy radio
Nissan wiring loom
But totally standard looks - 10" wheels still :)
Can't wait to enjoy him again!
Oooo fancy! Ive been considering a Micra transplant recently, cant wait to see some videos and pictures of this!

I have a rare version, so reluctant to do too much. But it has the following:
Full walnut dash with matching gear knob and door cappings and the dash has 3 auxiliary gauges.
Retro style stereo with rear component speakers
Full 'rouched' leather SPi seats with matching black leather door cards.
Tuned engine running 86hp.
Its currently missing its spots, but they will be going back on soon. As will a new exhaust I have acquired.
Other bits I would like to do:
Central locking, which was an optional extra from JCG at the time, and I have pretty much everything to install it bar some wiring.
Electric windows, again an optional extra.
I was thinning about heated seats, but I don't want to take mine apart to do it so left that idea.
Full length electric Webasto roof.
I am going to run an iPhone cable inside the dash connected to the rear of the stereo so I can just mount the phone and go. I would like a cup holder as well, but nowhere to put it.
I will also put a heated front screen in if for any reason mine breaks.
Aero wiper blades as well.
If I had something like a Clubby Estate, I think I would go for all out luxury and comfort on it, using an injected A series running around the 100hp mark with every mod con I could make work. I love luxury looking Minis.
Edit - also I am not normally a fan of DRLs, but they really really suit that Clubby!

Sounds great! Heated windscreen is also on the cards if mine ever breaks :)
