http://www.minispare...c/C-AHT245.aspx the short ish stub stack although the K&N filter is pretty short so not too sure if this will be too long possibly? But I've learned that I need to get a stub stack :)
Make sure you buy the right one for your carb. The one you linked is for a 1.25" HS2. Looking at your photos it looks like you have a 1.5" HS4. Longer isn't always better with ram stacks, it's more down to the radius of the end..

Yeah sorry i just noticed that :/ I think I'll just get the K&N, it's better than nothing anyhow :)
You might squeeze this under a K&N but no idea if any good.

Hi there sorry to re-revive an old-ish post of mine, but I've found that my current manifold is no good and is corroding a fair amount, which means it needs to be replaced.
I'm looking at the Maniflow manifolds but is there much difference if I bought the LCB manifold or the 3-1 exhaust manifold? :) Are there any advantages between the two? For a 998cc mini :)

you will have a better midrange with the 3-1, the coopers also used this design and were very good! lcb will give a few horses at top end extra but the 998 needs all the torque it can get for road driving, but there isn't much in it really!:)

Ah I see :) I've seen a third option which is this Maniflow stage 2 manifold http://www.minisport...arburettor.html with a bigger bore middle pipe, but I think I'm swinging towards the 3 branch Freeflow type, although just wondering is there much difference sound-wise? :) Sorry for the slightly trivial questions aha
