Can you get an adapter for a pin drive camshaft to a spade/slot type oil pump ??

I don't know if they are commercially available, but I have made a few.

In regards to the Spider Drive Cams, I don't waste my time with those adaptors, just drill the Cam and fit a Pin - Pin Drive!

Can you expand on how one would just drill the cam? I have an auto 1275 block for my Elf with a spider drive cam. I've drilled the oil passage, and made the pump adaptor plate (spacer). A local shop (Schneider cams) is doing a mild street grind on the cam. It looks like my only option is a $30 adaptor from MiniMania.

Thanks,

Brian

Hi Moke,

The picture Phil posted helps.  I may see if the cam shop I am using can do this for me.  Save the $$ on an adapter and a new oil pump (I have a new slot drive pump).

Thanks,
Brian
