I have found that the sony Xplod series is total rubbish and does have a tendancy to "Xplode". Which when compared the the products avalible from the JBL series is pretty unexpected from sony.

I was runing 2 JBL GT4 15's with 2 GTO4000's amps. This combo use to phsicaly move the car forwards and sounded great at the same time.
The few grams of cone moving in and out managed to move your 700kg+ car forwards? That's clever

It managed it in my mates 98 civic aswell, it up to you if you want to think im talking rubbish, just thought id say.

I have ....erm, not entirely sure, some big ones (2 x 12" ish) and amps and screens and playstation and all sorts, ruddy loud as well...not much into the ICE but was all installed when i got it recently, will check out the specs soon and post em up

I've not measured it yet, but I'd hazard a guess at it being around 137dB (same kit did that score in my other car)
