What is going on with the shock relocation? And did you shave down the front trumpet to get your desired ride height? Looks like you guys are having fun.

There is a lot more going on with the suspension system. :)
We'll have more details for you guys soon!

We're definitely having fun with this and we're looking forward to unveiling the finished product at SEMA! And of course, I'll have pictures for you guys. :)

After a week of very long hours our team did a fantastic job in turning an abandoned, rusted out Mini Shell in to a wild build that has never been done before.

However, at the very last minute hours before the Mini was to be loaded on to a trailer and sent off to SEMA the owner of MADNESS Autoworks called off the transport and made the decision to hold off the reveal until the Los Angeles International Autoshow.

He stated the following: "Unless everything is 100% on the car and the car is completed to our level of fit, finish and overall quality it will not be released. We will not compromise our reputation on showing a project that is 99.9% finished. If it is not 100% it will not go."

We will get more pics and details up in the days ahead and then show you the final reveal once everything is 100% complete.

I did snap some pictures of it for you guys. :)

you guys are fully nuts.  talk about grabbing the conventional mini 'scene' by the balls and giving them a good ole fashioned tug!   looks awsome, although you may have an issue with the rust look, you see it works with your heavy guage yank tanks as the steel is so thick, our little soapboxes have such thin (and on the post 1980 minis, sh*t) steel that any rust means they practically dissolve.

keep on top of the oxidisation chaps.  cheers!
