Fitted new front and rear seat belts in red (rear as I have a 6 year old and we want family days out in the car) and aren't the rears fun!!! removed the petrol tank due to a perished hose and painted it then refitted with a new hose.
Polished up and fitted a pair of front bumper under riders to complete the front bumper and very happy to have that all tidied up.
Removed the God awful chrome number plate lamp and painted and fitted an alternative in satin black for now but want to repaint the whole boot
I noticed the clutch slave cylinder was leaking so sourced a new one of those, fitted and bled in.
Swapped the old rubber bushes on the top engine steady and ultimate stabliliser for Deflex ones and fiddled with the timing. Managed to get it all back together before taking the boy swimming.
I am really enjoying playing with a Mini again after a 20 year break.

It is a Webasto Hollandia 400 so not the pull back one, this is electric. Not quite the effect I was after but finding a Webasto second hand that is any good is nigh on impossible.
Took her out for an adventure today to the Forbidden Corner in the Yorkshire Dales and aside from a windscreen wiper coming off and a couple of idle adjustments, all went well.

The sun was out this morning and the Mini was calling me from the garage for a run out to work so I took the opportunity to take a few snaps of the interior.
The belts, seats and carpets are now in, the dash is fitted, the stereo in and wired up and working. Still need to swap the switch panels over and fit the GT three clock dash but I am pretty happy with the work so far.
And one of my little lad who thinks the little Mini is ace.
