When I fitted my flipfront, I removed the inner wings. This means I haven't got the Aux. Fan anymore, and with this hot weather my poor mini is sweating a bit!!
I'm going to have a go at fitting it again tommorow, but just wondered if it's got to be very close to the radiator. I'm going to attach it to the brace bar somehow, but just need to know if it's best to have at closer? If it's best to have it closer I may try and mount it on the actually radiator surround.
by the way I know all about it pulling air out of engine bay, into wing etc.
Cheers,

the closer you get, the more efficient it is.
If the fan is pulling air through the radiator, the radiator must be boxed, so the air cannot short circuit and has to go through the radiator

Fit a washer on the outside of the fan bracket, stick a tie wrap through that from the outside and through the radiator. slip a washer over that, and then another tiewrap on that to "lock" it in place. then trim the excess.

Long stud from brace-bar, an L-shaped bracket attached to the radiator housing, and a bit of string wrapped around the top hose just to make sure!!!

And what would I need? Have a rough idea in my head but not sure,
Hoping it cold be switch manually and will help it run cooler during the summer, well that’s once the suspensions back together and the rads back in.

on a std Mini, the fan Sucks the hot air, onto the enigne....
on a Aux fan, it blow the hot air onto the enigne....
Reason it pushes/sucks air onto the hot engine... is theres no point in sucking/blowing hot air from the enigne though a hot rad...
