I have asked the police for a reply to this sort of thing , ie, whats there view , are they even interested [ its small fry compared to people shipping mercs and jcbs abroad i bet ]
Hopefully , fingers crossed they could twist Ebays bo**cks to stop it .

Reported.
Have reported log book sales to Ebay in the past and the item has been removed.

I emailed the DVLA once about this, they told me I should report it to the Police. I then went to the local Police station and they told me that it was out of their jurisdiction as the crime was happening on a Facebook group and the item was for sale elsewhere. They told me I should report it to DVLA. I gave up due to the utter numpties I talked to not seeming at all bothered about this.
They're for sale everywhere, people are too thick and ignorant to realise that by selling logbooks they are helping Mini thieves. Utterly pathetic [/rant]

I wonder why no company has ever made a more secure door lock for a mini?

I reported them all.
I reported a jaguar x type that was down on the log book as a ford KA. Neither the DVLA or ebay could give two f***s about it. The advert for the jag ran for 30 days until it ended.

Thanks, I actually mean a better barrel in the handle and a security plate behind that stops thief's doing the old door skin trick. (wont say what that is here).
Something like a D lock barrel etc or a coded lock?
The standard mini barrel can be opened with any other mini key if you know how.

I'm sure if it was your mini stolen then given a new identity you'd be fairly upset.
