Well the manifold has gone back to Maniflow. And I will be collecting something new from them at the IMM.while back in the UK i collected a few parts.
not actually sure that this will fit due to the oil system.
a full length pipe to the back of the car so i can add a cat where i can
and then some parts to make the rear box from some where a bit more local.
unfortunately they dont seem to have quite flared the input part correctly but as they are not welded in i should be able to fix that.

After showing my the head take off, nick, I'm really leaning towards the idea of feeding my top rad hose directly!
Don't do it. Been there done that, does not work. Unfortunately the pressure coming from the rad side is too great and it ends up back feeding into the heater takeoff side.

There is one big flaw in your statement. After showing my the head take off, nick, I'm really leaning towards the idea of feeding my top rad hose directly!

?
In my experience top or bottom hose does matter. However I'm talking about a relatively 'standard' side mount set up. I have no doubt you will have different experience with your front mount set up - there's not much stock on that.
