while back in the UK i collected a few parts.

not actually sure that this will fit due to the oil system.

TL2Dv67.jpg

a full length pipe to the back of the car so i can add a cat where i can

DnAcU6o.jpg

and then some parts to make the rear box from some where a bit more local.

bCWVOy8.jpg

unfortunately they dont seem to have quite flared the input part correctly but as they are not welded in i should be able to fix that.

oil system in the way.

Blimey, that really is in the way isn't it, you're going to need a lot more room than that.

might sell it on or keep it for a different build. but again keeping the Medium size LCB with a larger pipe may also be ok as the gas velocities will still he high and the Kat should not be too much of an issue.

Could you do the oil connection with a banjo and get it much tighter to the block?

If I recall there was a very good reason for not doing so on the block and that was every direction needed the hose to bend away from the surface due to the flanges. It could be done hard lining it for a distance but then that would really need mounts.

Another option would to have the outlet and inlet both on the box.

I'd have thought you've got even less room to play with at the box.
I've never seen a pre-pump filter setup, I presume the takeoff is from the standard oil pick up pipe mounting point at the back of the box.

I would've though having both on the box would be difficult too, unless you reworked the pick up so the feed 'to' the external filter was somewhere else and used the old pick up location to return.

a few guys have taken the pick up out of the front of the box not seen where it goes back in though but i guess back of the box where mine comes out or where mine goes in but as he has been running his 8 port for years and most likely did it to match the exhaust  he was running.
