As some may have seen it is out with the old lightweight Kevlar Sparco seat. i got it to go in the Cox in 96 out of Ferrari for 40 quid.he foam back and seat were gone and the red fabric was failing the fact i could no longer get my arse in it had nothing to do with it.

so one 6 hour trip later. many seats sat in one decided on.

this brings about a problem. the cage was basically built about my driving position in that old seat.

time to make changes for a wider and taller seat.

well lots of shouting did not work so cracked out the angle grinder with slitting disk to cut out some welds. still need to patch the floor in places.

 

tunnel done now to make some mounting supports.

Many years ago a mate of mine got pulled by the cops, ended up with a rollocking, he was sitting on 3 tyres...ahhah

Is that thermostat housing you have fitted good quality, by that I mean do you have any leakage issues with having the engine steady attached to it? I'm guessing you don't or you wouldn't be using it! Also can the part with the hose outlets be revolved to a position that suits?

it is an MPi spec one there are others.
