now do i swap out the alloy pistons to stainless ones as Minispares did later in production due to to much heat transfer and boiling fluid in track cars? my brakes never get hot hill climbing.

if you are going to paint something make sure it fits first.

Some used to run minifins, keeps the unsprung weight down, but never appeals to me

 

this is the alloy pistons in the original Minispares caliper that they swapped out of SS ones.do i keep the original alloy pistons or spend 60 plus the..

that is the plan some time. but as the family have left Gods Own county I am not sure when.

you know when you plan on taking some photos of a job but it goes so well you forget. found a very useful tool.

 

a piston press back tool for inserting the metal dust shields

That wheel standing next to the car creates an interesting illusion if you look at the picture quickly  :lol: I like that piston press tool for the metal rings.
