Ok wiper motor was not happy with the old Mini wiper motor behind the carb (above the exhaust) so i went looking for a new option. Rear wiper motors.

 

a friend had a Corsa A motor and i ordered a Corsa B motor bet you can guess which is which,

 

Oh the reason to go for these was the mounting brackets. Metal so easy to make/mod. 

 

so needed to make a new hole for the spindle (used the washer jet hole and enlarged it. also needed to hole in the bulkhead. will box it out in the weekend.

need to make up a reactor arm and splash some paint over the weld. and trim the spacers. and get a new nut.

torque reaction plate sorted.

it now has a working wiper for the first time since circa 94

just need the plastic cap

 

might play with bending the arm a bit more.
