Looking mega. That paint quality, on a race car!
Thanks but it is just acrilc rattle cans and elbow grease. Oh and the boot lid is just gel coat. As is the front but that needs more work.

Looking really nice, just out of interest what sort of angle have you used for the rear diffuser relative to the ground plane?

between 10 and 15 %
that was the designed but actual has not been measured yet.

Thank you, just to check, you say 10 - 15 percent, so do you mean a 10 - 15% grade / slope or do you mean 10 - 15 degrees?

degrees. flat surface. basically the angle made from the heel board to rear panel. actual angle relative to the ground will depend on how the car sits.

OK cheers, yeah I get about 12.5 degrees (relative to the floorpan plane) from the base of the heelboard to the rear panel / rear valance seam. As you say plus whatever rake you run.
I think you mentioned before you work on underbody stuff? Have you any experience of varying rear diffuser angle and the maximum usable angle from other work?

not actually something that came into the work envelope (not really relevant on serial production cars) BUT having spoken to a few people (I suggest you also ask more people) 10-12 was given by one. further reading suggested that was about right. BUT again this was all stated to ground plane so from that I can only guess they are running the floors parallel to the ground.
Points I will make are these air will get under your car. reduce this as much as you can. then control any air that is under the car to go where you want it to go.
All short wheel base cars with a rounded rear suffer from brake induced lift.
