I like the grommet for the battery cable. It's certainly a much tidier than the traditional ones. The new air dam looks good as well, are you going to connect vents up to some ducting for the brakes?

Every time you update this thread I feel a strong urge to buy another shell and build a hillclimb car.

I did not really want the vents. But was not an option. They also intersect with the metal work of the floor. They will be cut down and blanked.

Well that is the plan at the moment.

Very nice. I've got a pair on my clubman estate although it's not gone anywhere yet.

Of to see another car tomorrow as it is often easier to get your head around new rules and regs by seeing something that complies.

Did they screw right down on the hub or was there a gap?

Decided to change the position of the ARB bar.

Started with the electrics.

Might flip the p clips on the front bit,

This is for the starter as the relay will be in the car.

Fair enough I need to get some sikaflex when I get paid so I can bond some brackets on for mounting arches and bumpers

nice little touch with the front end panel sections never thought of doing that before

as it is a two piece so the need to remove it all the time is less than with the old one piece and also wanting to get it in the right position. not using a rubber mount just one side with a washer welded in to reduce the hole size. slides onto a 12mm rod. the front brace and M12 nut and the half a pear drop give the right thickness to space of from the front subframe give or take a mm or 2. thinking of putting a couple of rivnuts into the hole in the brackets to help with the bonding and security.

to be honest i am suprised that the panel people dont do them as an off the shelf item.
