what a difference.
You wouldn't believe it was the same mouldy scrapper from the first page
When is the MOT then?

Spent many hours trying to get some shine back into the paint...it hasnt come up too bad but my repaired rear arches are a cream rather than a white :/ oh well.
Basically need wiper blades and insurance. Slacking abit because of work. And a momentary issue involving the immobiliser and central locking. All sorted now.
Im away for a while soon but want it roadworthy before i go on 8th June.
Ive got all the trim pieces to go on too. Im quite happy but its just taken aaages. Plan is to start the mini tidy next

Insured and ready to go. Apart from a leaking sump plug. Will have to wait until after my trip.

Failed on indicator bulbs being too white.
One rear bush
And crap rear brakes
Let my MOT guy sort that out for me as i couldnt be bothered.
Parked up hill because the sump plug leaks. On the list to do upon my return.
I want stiffer suspension and maybe an engine swap to come in the future? Who knows. Just going to be used for now

It looks great!
Very well done with all the effort on something others might have scrapped

Nice..new daily? Or just adding to the fleet?
Mine keeps stalling when its cold atm. If i dip the clutch the revs drop well below idle and it sometimes stalls or sometimes recovers.
Also the gearbox is noisy in 1,2,3.
I spent lots of time trying to improve the metro handling and this cabriolet feels the same from standard. The only thing i dont like is the power steering.
