Ive asked to have it before to fix up but nothing came of it
Owner asked if I still wanted it...I said yes so here we are
Rear arches are just starting to go...needs a front wing and obviously new roof interior
Probably not worth it to some people but it is to me with my Rover obsession
Only a 1.4 aswell..manual everything

Tried to text you back earlier but it won't send for some reason
I'm gonna leave the metro until I've got some days off work in case it all goes wrong and I'm left without a car
I'll drop you a call or text when the time comes
New roof is in the region of 200-300 quid brand new
Hoping to find a breaker with a good second hand one...that's first on the list
Also cradley might need you for some rear arch repairs...

Well it needs a rear window but hopefully get one stitched in somewhere
Also got a new front wing...just needs painting
Only PIC I have really
Also this rear rail is now obsolete so need to repair the corners of it
That's the old roof with the dissolving rail
EDIT that's a metro not a dissolving rail...it can stay though

Are you going to be replacing the interior on the car?
Bet it was smelly in there!

Stripped out the rear of the car to remove the roof...not to bad in there really...
Where the roof struts mount is abit crusty but nothing serious and normal for these anyway
Got the roof off as I got a good second hand one to go on...just need to get the rear window replaced as its split
The bottom rail you can see on this picture...the rusty thing...is now obsolete and they pretty much ALL rust on these so finding a good one is impossible
Going to try and repair it to get me buy when I get around to fitting the new roof
They are the best pictures I have really...pretty crap ones
Trying to find a local company that will sew in a new plastic window for me
Next is to repair the rail this weekend hopefully

Not very experienced at this fabricating, welding stuff yet so here goes
That's the bad with the 'new' next to it
Cut old and tacked on new
Some pretty shabby welding later and I had this
End result today.. Will probably need some more 'shaping' but I need to try on the car first

So plan was to take everything off so I can give mine a power hood
So far I have only got the new roof resting in place and that's it...the mounting points all need a good clean...whole inside needs stripping..cleaning...painting and re assembling
I just dont have the room to store all the interior...SO I am in desperate need of a unit so I can move my rover and mini and have some good space to work on them...but that's another story
Heres a few pics
Remember that rear rail that had dissolved on mine..the new roof had a relatively intact rail which was a BONUS!!!
