I am selling my 1990 classic Mini Studio 2.
I have owned this car for 5 years but now due to moving abroad I have to sell.
The car is SORN (has no tax or MOT) and is therefore not road legal, however I used her as my everyday car until a year ago when I moved back to Manchester. My grandparents have stored her in their garage since then and she is still in good condition.
The mini does run but it requires a new battery.
Specifications:
998cc standard engine.
RC40 straight through exhaust system.
12" minilight alloy wheels with good tread on all tyres. Repairable slow puncture in one tyre.
Suspension and brakes all in good condition.
Drilled and grooved discs and EBC green stuff pads on the front.
Hi-lo adjustable suspension on the front.
Front callipers have had new seals and pistons.
Advised on last MOT that there is a rust hole on the rear subframe.
Interior standard Studio 2 in good condition.
CD player with iPod attachment.
Scratch on the offside door as shown in pictures.
Damage to rear end as shown in pictures.
Rust to the near side door seal as shown in pictures.
The front end has been fully rebuilt using new heritage panels and a second hand bonnet.
It has only had a temporary paint job and needs a re-spray, although the Banksy graffiti design that I did myself is consistently complimented and has even had people asking me to attend their car shows!
