Checked it out this morning and found that the top engine mount had shifted about 15mm over and when i got the engine cover off to do the washer trick i had been told about, i noticed that the bolts holding the mount to the body were loose!
So loose infact that i could unscrew the with my fingers. oops
So i jacked up the engine, removed the mount and fitted a washer on top of the rubber, put it all back together, torqued it up and hey presto, no more knocking!
So i think that's it now, no problems left to sort. Hope it stays that way
